Beauty: come nascondere le occhiaie alla perfezione

come nascondere le occhiaie - how to hide dark circles

How to hide dark circles perfectly

- una cipria in polvere trasparente come HD High Definition Powder di Make Up Forever

Among my "troubles", the problem of dark circles is definitely at the top in the ranking . I fight with these for a lifetime, because my blue shadows, as far as I sleep 3 or 12 hours they are always there, under my eyes, and give me a tired and so unehealthy look. And so, the concealer, my faithful companion, is the only product for the makeup that I could never go without: I give up even mascara, or blush, but the concealer not at all. I leave home without concealer in rare exceptions, and those usually are because I went out for a run or because I locked myself out wearing my pajamas :)
A few days ago I discovered a great concealer to erase dark circles. That's Erase Paste by Benefit and the price is a little bit expensive, but the product lasts a lot. Compared with the products I've used so far, this is most effective for two reasons: first of all because it has a paste-like consistency, which compared to the liquid I usually do, it sticks and covers better dark circles, and the second reason is that it has an orange hue, which contrasts the blue.
I did several tests and I developed my own technique to cover and align perfectly the dark area under the eyes with the rest of the made-up face. And then I said to myself, why not to share this with readers who have the same problem of mine?

To correct dark circles I use the following products:
- an orange mushy concealer as Erase Paste by Benefit (I use # 3, the darker)
- a beige liquid concealer as Effacernes Longue Tenue by Lancome (I use # 2)
- a loose translucent powder such as HD High Definition Powder di Make Up Forever
- A brush to spread the concealer
- A brush to apply the powder

After applying your eye contour gel with an anti-age action, take a bit of the orange concealer with the brush:

1. roll it out with a brush from the inner zone near the nose down to about half of the eye, which is where the eye socket is darker. With this product we make the most of the work and cover the areas where the shadow is more intense.

2. pat the concealer with your finger to warm it up and mix it better to the skin.

3. apply a few drops of fluid beige concealer over the entire eye socket and also on the outer corner of the eye over and tap with your finger to spread it out. You can add more product until you reach a satisfactory result. With this operation the color of the entire area below the eye will be uniform.

4. pour a little bit of transparent powder in the lid, take it with the brush, turning several times and then removing the excess of the product and give a quick pass on the dark circles. This way we will fix the product, and will avoid that it mush down.

To finish the makeup, apply foundation on your face with a damp sponge even around the eyes in order so it standardize all the complexion and conceal any differences.

I hope this post has been helpful to you. I look forward to your comments as to whether you also have problems of dark circles and how do you hide them. A big kiss!
